We assisted the City of Lieto in a construction dispute concerning the renovation of its central sports field. Following the refurbishment, the surface of the sports field failed to withstand its intended use, and the City initiated legal proceedings on the grounds of defective performance.

The District Court ordered the contractor to compensate the City of Lieto in full for the costs of redoing the sports field, as claimed, as well as for investigation expenses and the City’s legal costs. The judgment of the District Court became final and binding.
